I am Attorney Joyce Heritage, and I am committed to providing clients throughout Kittitas County and surrounding areas with excellent client service and experienced legal representation.

Experience and Local Knowledge

I have more than two decades of legal experience, as well as more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. My background in both law and finance has given me a broad range of professional experience and an understanding of the everyday concerns and challenges faced by my clients.

Although I have experience in a variety of areas of law, my practice focuses on traffic and criminal defense throughout much of Washington State. I have developed extensive knowledge of Washington's traffic laws, as well as the local court procedures, judges, and prosecutors in the communities where I practice.

Local knowledge matters. Every court has its own procedures and every case has its own circumstances. My familiarity with the courts and the people who work in them allows me to provide informed and practical representation to clients facing traffic, DUI, MIP, reckless driving, negligent driving, CDL, and other criminal charges.

Continuing Legal Education and Training

I am committed to staying current on developments in Washington criminal and traffic law. I am a member of:

• Washington State Bar Association (WSBA)

• Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (WACDL)

• Kittitas County Bar Association (KCBA)

I regularly attend continuing legal education programs focused on DUI defense, including the annual DUI defense seminar presented by the Washington Foundation for Criminal Justice (WFCJ).

In 2015, I completed standardized field sobriety testing training through LaPier & Associates, LLC.

Life Outside the Office

Outside of practicing law, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children, and our three grandchildren. I enjoy gardening, cooking, needlecraft activities, and following the Seattle Seahawks. I especially enjoy sharing these interests with my grandchildren.

My husband and I also enjoy traveling, particularly taking road trips and exploring new places together.
